23-03-14

It is with mixed emotions that the team returns with what will be the last and final Wooden Spoon 4 peaks challenge in 2014. After 20 years, the event is sadly coming to an end.

The www.4peaksake.com team simply could not, not take part in this momentous event for one final time....as reigning champions they will be defending their title as Fastest Team and will need to train like they have not trained before!

A crack team has been established and the guys are up for the challenge, dig deep and support the team for one final hurrah!

What a performance from the team in 2013, despite what can only be described as torrential weather throughout the event, the team rocked up and rolled down all 4 mountains ahead of the competition - 1ST PLACE, FASTEST TEAM - well done guys!

Record breaking campaign
06-07-2010

The most successful year yet, with over £250,000 raised in total, plus the 4peaksake.com team smashes previous PB's and finishes 2nd overall, huge, huge thanks to all those that sponsored us! - Also congrats to Paul Fletcher (lucky recipient of the case of wine!)

A successful campaign
23-07-2008

Without a doubt the 2008 4 peaks campaign has been the toughest yet for the team. With trials and tribulations both on and off the mountains it is a wonder that the team made it through at all.
With an excellent team spirit, 2nd to no other team before, the 2008 team not only pulled through, but they did it by breaking records too!
With 3 personal best times and equally their 5th place overall standing the team can certainly hold their heads up high.
Bringing home the Hellvelyn award and for the first time in their history, the Drivers Challenge bowl award at the first time of asking (well done Ippy)

Our sincere thanks to our family, friends, sponsors and supporters without whom this would not have been possible. The team raised £4,500 which contributed to the overall event fundraising total which exceeded £300,000!

Whatever the team had to personally endure to compete & finish in 2008 is a small price to pay for the satisfaction of competing in the event and in supporting such a worth while cause.

But will they be back???
