Steve Meredith (Mez) - Team Captain |
| |
Steve Meredith, Captain Fantastic, the Bear, Hulk, Football Head, he goes by many names but to the lads who follow him, without question, in this challenge he is simply ‘skips'. Having undertaken a radical rebranding in his temporary home of Bermuda he has shaken off the sugar and the new butch skips has started playing rugby. Due to his physicality and natural aggression he has immediately been identified as a potential winger. His speed off the mark and turn of pace have also earned him another nickname down at the club as ‘Merve the Swerve' regularly runs rings around cones in training. It can only be a matter of years before he is ready to start on the bench in a real game.
His dedication to this challenge and leadership qualities cannot be doubted. He is the deep heat that warms the lads' thighs in the winter and the cold sponge squeezed on the back of the neck in the summer. He knows he has a special challenge ahead of him this year, as he attempts to mould a novice team into the champions he believes they can be. If anyone can achieve this feat, skips can. Now let the crowd cheer ‘we love skips, we love skips, we love skips' Show your support for Steve, by securely donating now

Ben Jenkins (Jenk's) |
| |
This will be Jenk's long awaited debut in the 4 peaks, probably the most naturally fit of the bunch and one of the most steeley, determined individuals we have the pleasure to know "it's all the mind" you'll hear the lad cry when the tough gets going!
What Jenk's lacks in experience in compensated by shear guts and determination, he's a lad that dedicates himself to everything he tackles in life, from eating, working, eating, sleeping, eating, working out, eating….3 staple meals a day and then some! This is a lad that believes in nutrition!
With a demanding job working and living in Bath, Jenk's by his own admission is going to find training and preparation a true challenge for this year's event, but we're all right behind the fella.

Tim Frost (Frosty) |
| |
Along with his good mate Jenks, Frosty is the second member of the team to make his debut in the 2010 event. He's a beer swigging rugger bugger from the west country who is certainly not afraid of getting a bit mucky! He's delivered many an inspired rally call in the changing room before matches and will hope to channel this aggression into the challenge “They're **** all boys, **** all!”
Frosty is an engineer by trade, developing parts for helicopters. Let's hope Frosty can apply his engineering skills to develop a structured approach to tackle these mountains, and hope the lads don't need the help of one of his creations to get off them!
Living in Bristol Frosty and Jenks hope to train together as much as possible, with the ambition of a warm weather training session with Team Captain Mez some time before the event!

Graham Frost (Ice Man) |
|
The third debutant, the big brother, the step-dad. Graham (Ice man) Frost is a man that doesn't understand the phrase "It cant be done" - especially when it comes to eating ham, egg and chips in under 2m 30s to avoid the bill!
Living in "that" north he's no stranger to the cold and wet that could be thrown at the team during the challenge. He has a steady hand trained through years of DIY and being husband and step-dad to a coffee loving family, he's an expert at providing stimulation. Coupling these with his laid back demeanour, sense of humour and all round general "Big Bruv" nature he is the ideal candidate.
But don't be fooled, when the drivers climb in Ireland approaches, his ice man instincts will kick in, he'll step up to the mark, snort and grunt a bit and take the...competitions breath away. C'mon Gray, you da man!
